Tokenomics
Cozyville has a real token, $COZY, and we want to be plain about how it works and how we think about it.
First, the principles
A few commitments shape everything below:
- Play for fun first. Cozyville is a game. Enjoy the town, and treat anything involving the token as a bonus, never a plan to make money.
- Pay to access, never pay to win. Buying in lets you enter and gives you a bigger economic engine. It never buys gameplay power. Skills, gold, gathered and crafted goods, and your home are all earned by playing, at the same rate for everyone.
- No income promises, ever. You will never see an hourly rate, a yield, or an "earn a living" claim from us, because we will not make them.
- Crypto is volatile.
$COZYcan go down as well as up. Only ever spend what you are comfortable spending on a game you enjoy.
Two currencies
Cozyville runs on two kinds of money that do different jobs:
- Gold is soft, in-game money. You earn it by playing and spend it with other players. It is the everyday currency of the town.
$COZYis a real Solana token with a fixed supply. It is the ownership layer: access, premium goods, and a careful bridge to real value.
Almost everything you do day to day is pure gold. $COZY sits on top, for the parts that involve real ownership.
What $COZY is for
Access. Holding a small amount of $COZY is what lets you move into the town and play. It is a one-time buy-in, not a toll on every action.
Spending. $COZY buys premium cosmetics and, in time, special homes. These are things to express yourself with, never power. Spending it this way simply supports the world.
Earning, funded by real play. Cozyville has real play-and-earn, and it is designed to be funded rather than printed. People who buy $COZY want gold and goods, and players who make those things earn from selling them. Seasonal pools also reward play with real $COZY, paid for out of real activity in the economy rather than conjured from nothing. We describe the mechanisms, and we never quote a rate.
A careful bridge. Moving value between gold and $COZY happens in one place, on purpose. It is gated, paced with limits, and backed by the treasury, so it stays a gentle, throttled exchange rather than a faucet. Keeping it to one careful crossing is what keeps the whole economy honest.
Holder perks, not power. Holding more $COZY can come with perks like a higher earning ceiling, a larger share of the seasonal pools, gentler fees, and a bit of status. These are economic perks only. They never make your axe swing faster or your crops grow sooner. The cozy core is the same for everyone.
The honest part
$COZY is a community token on Solana and Pump.fun. Real value means real risk, and the careful design above exists precisely because we take that seriously. Play Cozyville because the town is a lovely place to be. If owning a piece of it suits you, do it with money you are happy to spend on something you enjoy.
