Your own place

Housing lets you claim a spot, decorate it with the things you craft and collect, and shape a home that feels like you. It starts humble. Your very first nest is a simple tent you pitch yourself, yours right away. From there, the goal of a real home you build up over time gives the everyday loop something to aim at.

A home is a place to show off what you have made, a reason to keep crafting and decorating, and a quiet anchor in a living town.

A note on timing

Housing is a planned feature, not a launched one yet. It arrives as the first big update after launch, and it is worth the wait. You can read more about what is coming, and in what order, on the Roadmap.

The same goes for relaxed, optional monster-hunting at the town's edge. It is part of the plan for later, never forced on anyone who would rather just fish.
